Freedom of expression without EXCEPTION

1.5 Hours | $55 Per Person | Lower East Side and SoHo

Our Graffiti and Street Art tour will take you to hidden spots in Manhattan where graffiti is still alive and kicking. Once common on New York streets and subway cars, today it is an almost lost art, yet still a symbol defiance and freedom of expression.

How does it work? Who paints it? And how does it predict changes in the city fabric?

We’ll explain techniques and talk about motivations and inspirations.

Our tour begins with Street Art, then ventures into SoHo neighborhood to talk about how art defined the character of the neighborhood in the 1960’s through the 1980’s, eventually making it a luxurious part of the city, far away from street artists’ reach.
